(MH and her "babies.")
So, I've been blogging for two weeks. (It was actually two weeks yesterday, but I was too busy doing nothing to blog.) Anyway, two weeks is the amount of time they say it takes to make an activity a habit. If you can exercise everyday for two weeks, or stick to a diet for two weeks, then the hard part is supposedly over. According to this woman's magazine science, I should be a well-established blogger by now.
But here's the problem. I know about this two week/habit thing. And that makes it not work. It's around two weeks that I begin to let things slide. Mostly because I think that my fortnight of effort will work its magic without me having to exert myself further.
I was gonna write more, but not really feeling it right now.
Two weeks. Let the slacking begin!

Well, I'm thinking about doing NaNoWriMo. And if I'm writing a whole novel during the month of November, I'm sure as shit not going to blog everyday too.
DeleteBut I'll keep this in mind for December. Thanks, Kate!
I really want to do NaNoWriMo but I don't think I can do it this November - too much going on. That, and I'm terrified of it. Maybe December, haha. We can swap.
DeleteI signed onto the site in order to start blogging. That was a week ago. I wonder what that means. I love your blog so I hope it becomes a habbit.
ReplyDeleteum, i think it's really three weeks. hate to burst your bubble.
ReplyDeleteIf you stop blogging, I will be quite cross.
